Postdoctoral Research Fellow
John D’Attoma received his Ph.D. from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis in political science.
His area of concentration is international relations with a specialization in political economy. His dissertation research examines the effects of institutions, civic culture, and social capital on taxpayer behavior in Italy, specifically regarding the differences in taxpayer behavior between northern and southern Italy. In a nutshell, he is interested in why people pay taxes.
John has experience teaching Introduction to American Government, African Politics, Politics of the European Union, and Marxist Heritage at the University of Missouri-Saint Louis, as well as World Religions, Comparative Politics, and 20th Century World History at Lindenwood University.
